NATHAN A. BROCK
Nate was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2005. Nate received his B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University in 2002 and juris doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 2005, with honors in Estate Planning. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Cullman County Bar Association.
During the initial three years of his practice, Nate’s practice concentrations included corporate and business law, real estate transactions, probate, estate and trust administration, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and intellectual property. In attempt to further serve his clients’ needs, Nate has expanded to a general practice that includes, in addition to the foregoing practice areas, criminal law, divorce law, family law, juvenile law and civil litigation.
Prior to beginning his practice of law, Nate founded, managed and created the code for a web startup company, HeronMark Media, specializing in community-based, interactive media. Recognized by such news outlets as CNN, The Wall Street Journal and The London Daily Telegraph, HeronMark Media established a base of over fifty thousand registered members and received millions of visits across its collective community of websites.
Leveraging the experience gained from this enterprise, Nate assists clients in dealing with the intertwining of legal and technological issues that occur with continuing prevalence in today’s society.
The Boy Scouts of America imprinted upon Nate a love of camping and the outdoors. Nate achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of thirteen and he can often been found in the woods camping and hiking on the weekends.
